Tekken 8 beats Street Fighter 6, at least in the UK
From information previously shared by GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring, Tekken 8 not only topped the UK retail sales charts at launch, but also doubled the launch figures of last year’s Street Fighter 6, although the latter wasn’t quite as high we are learning. .
The fighting game in general and the introduction of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth have caused marked changes at the top; EA Sports FC 24 could not rank in the top three after a long time, and sales of Hogwarts Legacy slowed down.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lost 6 places. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered remained in the top 10 just a week later. It must be said that in the case of the Naughty Dog game, a similar decline is understandable, given that we are talking about a re-release and most people probably took advantage of the PS4 upgrade, which costs 10 euros to play it.
