This detail comes directly from the series’ official website, where the full system requirements for the PC version were also recently revealed, via a post presenting the maps and modes available at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s launch.
First maps to return Ciftlik 18, Mercado and Shoot HouseIt will be added to a special playlist “shortly after launch.” The maps will be the same as their counterparts in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but the developers guarantee that they will create completely different matches thanks to the new mechanics added to the game. However, it will not be possible to play with new modes such as Cutthroat introduced in Modern Warfare 3.
“To further expand the already impressive Core 6v6 map selection, we are excited to announce that a number of fan-favorite Modern Warfare II maps will be gradually introduced into Modern Warfare III over the course of seasons.” official site.
